Homemade French Onion Soup
Fixings
3 enormous onions stripped and cut
½ teaspoon earthy colored sugar discretionary
1/3 cup margarine
8 cups hamburger stock 64 oz
1/3 cup dry white wine
3 branches new thyme or ½ teaspoon dry
1 narrows leaf
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1 Tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 roll
3 cups gruyere cheddar
6 Tablespoons new parmesan cheddar
Guidelines
Cut onions 1/4" thick. Cook onions blending sometimes over low hotness in liquefied margarine until brilliant, around 30-45 minutes.
Add wine, meat stock, cove leaf, thyme, dark pepper and worcestershire. Heat to the point of boiling, diminish hotness and stew for 60 minutes. Eliminate straight leaf and thyme and dispose of.
In the interim, cut bread and brush with olive oil. Sear 2 minutes for every side or until brilliant.
Spoon soup into earthenware bowls. Add 2 cuts of bread in each bowl. Partition cheeses over bowls and sear until brilliant and bubbly.Cool. Appreciate it !
